A private yacht is the easiest way to give a bachelor or bachelorette party a centerpiece. Your group gets sun decks, a salon, and music on the water, with the San Diego skyline as the backdrop and nobody else's party on board. Most groups book 3 to 5 hours.

Why a Yacht Beats a Bar Crawl
- It's your space. The whole yacht is booked for your group only. No cover charges, no lines, no strangers.
- Bring your own drinks. Guests may bring their own food and beverages, including alcohol, which keeps the cost per person down.
- Built-in photo backdrop. The downtown skyline, the Coronado Bridge, and the bay make every group photo look good.
- Nobody has to drive. A USCG-licensed captain and crew run the boat, so the whole group can celebrate.
Picking the Party Yacht
Most bachelor and bachelorette groups are 13 or fewer, which is the certified limit on all of our yachts except the Westport 100. Within that, pick for the vibe:
- Sunseeker Predator 72: a black-and-white sport yacht with serious presence, built for a group that wants to be seen. Chartered as a 4-hour trip, with the option to drop anchor in Glorietta Bay off Coronado for swimming and lounging when conditions allow.
- Sea Ray 56 and Sea Ray 52: a flybridge, salon, and foredeck sun space, so the group can spread out across a few distinct areas.
- Beneteau 50: a modern sport cruiser with an open cockpit, a wet bar, and a forward sunpad on the bow.
- McKinna 69: a wide-beam yacht with a swim platform, bow lounge, Skylounge, and an outdoor grill, departing from Mission Bay.
- Combined bachelor and bachelorette parties of 14 or more: the Westport 100 carries up to 134.
Planning Tips
- Pick your light. Midday is best for sun and swimming; a sunset charter is better for photos and heading into a night out downtown.
- Count heads carefully. Passenger limits are set by Coast Guard certification and can't be stretched for one more friend, so book the yacht for your final headcount.
- Know the rules. The renter must be 18 or older, and smoking, illegal drugs, and non-service pets aren't allowed on board.
- Music and décor. Tell us your plans when you request availability and we'll confirm what the yacht you book supports.
- Make a weekend of it. Pair the charter with a Padres game or a night in the Gaslamp, a short ride from the bay. Our party planning guide has more ideas.
