Mission Bay, San Diego
Mission Bay Yacht Charters
Beaches, open coastline, and offshore fishing, on a private yacht with your own captain and crew.
Most San Diego yacht charters run on San Diego Bay, with its downtown skyline and Navy harbor. Mission Bay is the other side of the city's waterfront: a sprawling aquatic park lined with beaches, a few minutes from Pacific Beach and Mission Beach, with a channel straight out to the open Pacific. CDM Yachts offers private charters from Mission Bay aboard the McKinna 69.
About Mission Bay
Mission Bay Park covers about 4,600 acres, roughly half land and half water, and is the largest man-made aquatic park in the United States. Its 27 miles of shoreline wind around Fiesta Island and Vacation Isle, past sandy beaches, parks, and resorts. Quivira Basin, near the channel entrance, is the bay's commercial hub for sportfishing and charter boats.
Inside the bay, boats slow to 5 knots at night, near the shoreline, around docks, and under bridges, so a cruise here is relaxed by design. For a longer run, the yacht heads out the Mission Bay channel to the coastline. Your captain will suggest a route based on conditions and your charter length.

- Choose Mission Bay for beaches, the coastline, sunset on open water, and offshore fishing.
