San Diego Comic-Con fills the Gaslamp Quarter and the convention center waterfront every summer, and the crowds extend well past the show floor. The bay sits right alongside all of it, which makes a short charter one of the few ways to get an open-water break without leaving downtown.
A couple of common ways groups use it during convention weekend: a mid-day charter as a breather between panel blocks, or an evening charter after the show floor closes, watching the skyline light up from the water instead of fighting crowds on the Embarcadero.
